Chris Barnhill is an Executive Vice President and Wealth Advisor with David Wealth Management Group. In his role, Chris has the privilege of guiding multiple generations of families as they work toward achieving their financial goals, whether that means planning for higher education, saving for travel, enjoying meaningful hobbies, or preparing for a dignified retirement. These long-term relationships continually inspire Chris to serve his clients with integrity and dedication, helping them pursue what truly matters most.
After earning his Master of Business Administration from Francis Marion University, Chris left his family’s farm in Lake City to begin a new chapter in the Midlands. His approach to wealth management is centered on listening with intention, caring deeply, and offering personalized strategies tailored to each client’s unique definition of financial success.
Chris frequently works with clients during pivotal life transitions such as retirement, business succession, inheritance, and specializes in multigenerational wealth transfer strategies. He is also skilled in addressing the complexities of high-net-worth planning, often collaborating with attorneys, CPAs, and other professionals to develop comprehensive solutions. Chris holds Series 7 and 66 licenses through LPL Financial and Stratos Wealth Partners and is currently registered to conduct business in South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Michigan, Ohio, Florida, and Georgia.
In addition to his professional work, Chris is committed to serving his community. He has held leadership roles including President of the Rotary Club of Lexington, Chair of the Lexington Rotary Foundation, and is actively involved with the Ancient Freemasons and Indiantown Presbyterian Church.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys cooking, reading, golfing, kayaking, and spending quality time with his family. He and his wife, Madison, live in Columbia with their son, Wilson, and their dog, Cooper.
